Love my Garmin vivofit!!!

I love my Garmin Vivofit and I love the Garmin Connect app. I love checking out the weekly and monthly graphs, and seeing how high I can push the weekly and monthly averages. I get a kick out of the personal records too and enjoy the "Insight" tips it gives me, and the links to health articles. Best of all, I love that the app syncs effortlessly with My Fitness Pal, so that my steps are factored into my caloric intake.

LOVE IT

It is amazing! It really helps to motivate you. You can see all the progress youve made and it makes achieving youre goals seem realistic! I love it ! I recommend it to anybody looking for a way to get more active.

A part of my life

I dont usually right reviews but in this case I will say that this entire set up and the pairing with the wrist HR watch its become a part of my life. I get to observe what situations raise my heart rate and I can be part of challenges and I can receive notifications and weather all at the same time. Everything is important to me with this app and devices that is paired with it. I can even find out how Im sleeping I know it is very accurate which helps me calculate different activities. Its a wonderful app. Thank you

Not bad

Im still getter by used to this app and my garmin watch, but the thing thats making it very frustrating for me is not being able to choose km for distance and lbs for weight. Miles means nothing to me and I rarely use kgs. Cant there be custom measurement settings like other apps?!

I love tracking on a day graph my heart rate corresponding with my activities. I also like to monitor the quality of my sleep with the sleep graph. Only wish, if not already possible, to able the app to connect a hrm chest strap. I practice martial arts and a wrist monitor is not conveinient. Overall, I highly recommend this app and Garmin Vivosmart HR wrist monitor that Im using it with. Im not trying to make any publicity but to inform that this a good combination if you like to monitor your activities and especially HIIT. This will give you the necessary detailed feedback to maintain and improve your level of fitness through proper monitoring and motivation.

Solid except for the ski function

Great app overall. The ski function seems to only track downhill activity which is pretty lame if you ski tour where the hard work is on the way up.

I love the tracking of activities including maps to show you were youve gone. I also love the summary pages I find seeing the comparisons helps to motivate me!

Please fix Live Track

I like the app and being able to create my own workouts as my fitness improves. What is annoying is the lack of consistency when using Live Track. It can fail to start or stop partway through a run. The concept is great of being able to let friends and family follow you on a run at night but it needs to work. Please fix it.

Hire some proper engineers

1. This app should store my data on my phone and only sync what is missing from your server. Since most new data comes from my watch it should mostly work without an Internet connection. Instead, each time you tap to a new screen all data is re-pulled from the server. If you dont have a connection or have minimal bandwidth, as is often the case when I want to use this outdoorsy app, the app either doesnt work or takes minutes to sync with each tap. Terrible. Basically just a web site. 2. Sleep tracking is very weak. Basically it only counts one continuous sleep episode per day. If you wake for more than 30 minutes to say walk the dog or because youre on a red eye, any other sleep is not tracked. 3. Weekly summary is wrong. It only ever sums the previous 6 days. 4. Daily distance tracking is wrong. It uses the number of steps x the average step distance when walking. So if you go trail running and run a few km down hill, the daily total will be less than the distance from your trail running activity. Garmin should be embarrassed by this product. Expensive but full of bugs.
